GREEN ENERGY AWARENESS COURSE

PROJECT DESCRIPTION 

Although ComEd has a wealth of training courses in their LMS, me with two other interns at the Training and Methods department found that there are no courses that provides a basic overview of green energy sources. So, we worked with an in-house instructional designer to propose and develop the course as part of the innovation initiative for ComEd interns. Our proposal was accepted and we proceeded with design and development.

​PROCESS

We started by creating storyboard for the project. After adding transcript to each slide, we collected images from attribution free websites such as Pixabay, Wikimedia etc. We then signed up for a trial account for Storyline 360 and developed the content according to the storyboard. We also acquired permission from authors to use a few images for the course which were not available on public domain.
